What’s all the fuss over that tiny country called Israel?

Look at the map to the left. Israel is that little red spot in the middle.

That small strip of land is the most contested property on the planet. Why does it create so much hatred towards its indigenous peoples, and how has it survived such overwhelming numbers of military troops, weaponry, wealth and the desire to destroy it?

There’s simply no way to answer that question using any kind of logical secular thinking, which is why there has never been a workable peace plan put forth by any geopolitical body. The answer is a serious problem for all those trying to make peace in the region. That problem is trying to remove God from the solution. After all, Religion and Politics don’t mix, right?

Can there ever be a peace in the region?

Our contention is there can be no lasting peace in the Middle East until Israel is made whole by obtaining ALL the land God gave to Abraham. That day is coming, but not without war. Psalm 83 war to be precise.

There will never be a peace plan put forward that can assuage both the Israelis and the Palestinians because their religious texts (Torah vs Koran), tell each they’ve been promised these Holy Lands by their respective gods. Accepting anything less would be blasphemy to both Jew and Muslim.

Is POTUS aware peace can’t be made? We’d expect he was told by his evangelical advisors.

What’s Trump’s motive?

We have all witnessed how the president immediately made relations with Israel a top priority of his administration. Trump kept his promise to recognize Jerusalem as the eternal capital city of the State of Israel, and kept his promise to move the US Embassy to Jerusalem. He dispatched his Ambassador to the United Nations to stand for Israel in the strongest possible ways and terms. He pulled out of the Iran Nuclear deal with the support of Israel’s Prime Minister. And the list goes on, but the message is clear. America has Israel’s back.

Are we also witnessing Trump exercise the promise by God made to those who support Israel? Genesis 12:3 “And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

What’s the reward?

For President Trump, it’s a win win opportunity. He simply can’t go wrong by trying to bring peace to the Middle East. It’s what his base want’s him to do, it’s what his party want’s him to do, and it’s what his faith tells him to do. Worse case scenario he succeeds in helping to provide Israel with more military protection, more political capital, more economic opportunity. What does he/we get in return? Stable access for our military and intelligence forces to operate in the region, and If Genesis 12:3 is true, a promised blessing to the United States of America.
